Originally constructed to house a shoe manufacturer, the Kreider building is an adaptive use project in Lebanon, PA. This 63,926 sf structure contains 50 apartment units for seniors at an affordable price.
Working with Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA), the facility accommodates programs and amenities appropriate for seniors, including a grandchild playroom, community room with warming kitchen, and a book share library. The city of Lebanon welcomes the opportunity to provide housing to their low-income older adults. The building also features large, new windows that look like the original, high ceilings, exposed masonry walls, and solar collector, FV or community water heating.
